The Ballyheigue Community Centre played host to a thrilling badminton tournament on Sunday, with competitors from across the region gathering to battle it out for top spot.
The sunny weather and stunning coastal views added to the festive atmosphere, and the delicious home-cooked food and fantastic spot prizes didn't go amiss either!
The annual tournament is held in memory of the late Patrick Corridon, a much-loved and active member of the Ballyheigue Badminton Club for many years. Patrick loved badminton, not just for the sport itself, but for the chats and craic it brought - and that's exactly what made today's tournament so special.
Players from Kerry and beyond threw everything they had into the competition, with many enjoying a busy day of matches to make it to the finals.
