The Kerry Grade D Inter-County Badminton team, managed by Helen Browne and Donie Enright, had a tough but impressive day in Waterford recently.

The team, consisting of Helen Browne, Sinead Galvin, Jennifer Nash, Adele O’Brien, Ruth Concannon, Donie Enright, Giovanni Gaudino, Mikey Flanagan, Kelvin McNally, and Brendan McGovern., showed great spirit and competitiveness, taking on some of the best teams in the competition.

Kerry kicked off with a win against Waterford, showcasing their skills and teamwork. They then suffered a tough loss to Tipperary, with some close games showing the team's potential.

The team's toughest match came against a strong Cork panel, and despite giving it their all, they weren't able to secure a spot in the All-Irelands. Interestingly, Listowel's own Patricia  O'Herlihy, a originally Cork native, was part of the winning Cork team.

A big thank you to Helen, Donie, and the whole Kerry team for representing Kerry with pride!
