The Kerry Grade F badminton team put on a fantastic show at the Munster Inter-county competition in Borrisoleigh, County Tipperary today.

Competing against Tipperary and Clare in Group A, the Kerry team, managed by William Flaherty, showcased some great games of badminton. The team consisted of:
Women: Jennifer Estella (Tralee), Carmel Hudson (Moyvane), Caroline Lemass (Killarney), Bridget McCarthy (Moyvane), Jessica O'Loughlin (Kingdom - Castleisland), Olena Paiuk (Tralee)
Men: Brendan Carroll (Tralee), Florence Griffin (Tralee), Paul Hayes (Listowel), Antonii Paiuk (Tralee), Naveen Puppala (Killarney), Michael Sheehy (Moyvane)

The competition format included 1 Women's Singles, 1 Men's Singles, 2 Men's Doubles, 2 Women's Doubles, and 3 Mixed Doubles.

Kerry faced the eventual Munster winning team Tipperary, and while they came up short, the team showed plenty of spirit and had some very close games that could have gone either way 😊. Despite the tough break, the team had a blast and there was plenty of laughter and camaraderie.

The team's enthusiasm was infectious, and many players asked manager Flaherty to keep building on the work done this year in the off-season, with a view to taking the team to new heights. Well done to everyone involved - here's to next year!

Looking ahead the Kerry Grade E team and Kerry Grade G team will be in action in Cork next Sunday. Stay tuned for more updates on these teams and more!
